Meeting Minutes for July 24, 2008
Present at the Meeting:
Bob Griffin, Pat Casey, and Jim Owens
Topics Discussed:
· Meeting minutes from June 19 reviewed.
· Fall clean-up to be on October 18, 2008.
· Two trees near parking lot have died. We will plan to replace them during Fall clean-up.
· Brian Casey’s Eagle project going well.
· Plan to have a larger drain replace the lowest drain tile on the west end of the creek trail later in the summer.
· Still need Lexan put on sign board.
· Plan to use a new spray to control honeysuckle after the first frost on hillside near meadow.
· Trees that were blocking trails have been cut up. Would be nice if these areas were left more natural after cutting trees in the future.
· Suggested to have scheduled organized nature walks.
Action Items:
· Plan for Fall clean-up.
· Service Department to install Lexan covers on signboard.
· Follow up on Boy Scout projects.
· Catherine and Bob document history for signboard posting.
